Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist at CNN. Her TV show The Last House Remaining on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30, 2012. The show also has her as an on-camera meteorologist and is co-executive director. The first book she has published is EXTREME WATER by Palgrave Macmillan. It was released on January 31st, 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston Schneider also contributed the entertainment and lifestyle reports as a special assignment reporter three days a week. Before joining WB56 she worked as the weekend forecaster for WFOR-TV Miami. There were a variety of meteorology, reporting and TV positions. This includes: News 12 Long Island - a 24 hour cable news TV network, as well as WXII-TV - an NBC affiliate based in Winston-Salem. The other position she worked in was a fill-in on occasion for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
